About

We listen, act, and transform

At Sonorous Counseling, we work with adults navigating the pain of anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Together, we focus on building skills to improve emotional regulation, set healthier boundaries, and foster meaningful connections—all while nurturing a stronger sense of self-worth. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I deeply respect each person’s unique journey without judgment. My approach is person-centered, meaning you lead the way in our work together. I provide a safe, supportive space with structure and guidance to help you feel empowered in your healing process. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, and CBT and have over seven years of experience working specifically with addiction in an outpatient setting. I became a therapist because of my own personal journey with anxiety and trauma. I know firsthand how difficult life can be—but I also know the strength and wisdom we can find through the process of healing. It’s my passion to connect authentically with others and walk alongside them as they grow. If you’re ready to take that next step, I’m here to support you. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) with over 10 years of experience helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use concerns. I am licensed in Colorado and offer therapy through a secure virtual platform, including EMDR sessions. My clinical training includes EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In addition to individual therapy, I have over four years of experience leading Love and Logic parenting groups and DBT skills training groups. I spent more than four years specializing in addiction treatment in an outpatient setting at Denver Health Hospital, where I worked closely with individuals addressing substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. I am passionate about providing a supportive, person-centered approach that empowers clients to build emotional regulation skills, strengthen relationships, and foster personal growth.
